Event Description:
The early weeks of breastfeeding can be challenging. Come with your baby and receive expert help from certified breastfeeding counselors and RN's from the Family Birth Center. Sleepy babies, burping, pumping and returning to work are some of the topics discussed. Surrounded by other moms and babies, you will gain confidence in breastfeeding. You are welcome to attend during pregnancy. These free weekly group sessions meet in the DeWitt Professional Building adjacent to the hospital. Registration is not required and arrival time is flexible. Free parking. If you have questions, please call 616.748.2834. The group meets each Tuesday from 1 to 2 p.m. Exceptions: No session on April 3, July 3 and December 25, 2018.
