Plant Your Stake

We invite the community of Hudsonville, Jenison and Grandville to join us in our building campaign called 'Plant Your Stake' as we expand and strengthen our Relational Ministry at Love In the Name of Christ in Hudsonville. Community members can participate by purchasing a wood stake for any amount ($50-$1000) to benefit this building expansion. From Executive Director, Lisa Mathews: "At Love In the Name of Christ, we are excited to partner with local churches, business and individuals as we eradicate poverty one relationship at a time. We invite the community to join us for this special moment in this ministry's history where as a community we come together to declare our commitment to stand together in ministry to those who are under-resourced in our neighborhood." On Saturday, April 25 at 9:00am each stake will be planted into the ground by the community's individuals or groups who have purchased them, showing their investment in this ministry. These same stakes will later be incorporated into our new building through the creation of a wall mural by a local artist. To purchase a stake online, please visit www.loveinthenameofchrist.org. After purchasing, you will receive a thank you letter and 'Save the Date' magnet for our groundbreaking ceremony on April 25 at 9:00am. We invite the community to participate in this exciting Relational Ministry expansion- the ministry at the heart of Love In the Name of Christ.
