Grow your leadership skills.

Let’s take our leadership skills up a notch with our first ever leadership class. This is an intensive and fast-paced opportunity to develop higher level leadership skills. We are partnering with Rich Lohman, leadership coach, to provide training and help us develop our skills!

5 week course

• The course will run from February 1 to March 1, 2017. The sessions will run from 9am to 11am.
• There is a fee of $250 to participate in the training course.
• Applicants will need to apply for consideration by January 15 in order to be considered. To apply, please submit a resume and cover letter (describing why you are interested in participating). In order for the course to be as impactful as possible, we will be filling slots with 12 individuals with a diverse background and experiences.

Course-work

• Week 1: Introduction, group assignments, & training. Topic: Leaders Model.
• Week 2: Presentations by Industry leaders, law enforcement, and municipal leaders
• Week 3: Training. Topic: Leaders Motivate.
• Week 4: Training. Topic: Leaders Mentor.
• Week 5: Group presentations.

In addition to the formal leadership training, and connections to local influencers, this group will explore barriers that prevent our community from reaching its highest potential. Groups will identify and research an issue and create and implement viable solutions.
