DESCRIPTION:Play cornhole at Urban HayDay and win a CASH PRIZE!\n\n\n\n1st place = $120 CASH\n\n2nd place = $40 CASH\n\n\n\nHOW TO REGISTER:\n\n\n Click the blue "Register Now" button at the top of the page.\n Click "click here to continue your event registration" if you are not a Chamber Member.\n Submit the appropriate information.\n\n\nRULES:\n\n\n Must pre register and pay $20 to confirm your spot in the tournament.\n Must be 18 years of age or older to participate.\n A total of 8 teams of 2 players will be competing in the tournament.\n Two teams\, consisting of two players\, compete against one another until a winning team is determined by reaching or exceeding twenty-one points OR when the 20 minute mark is up the team with the highest score will move on.\n Each team will stay in their designated lane for the whole game.\n Players at the headboard will alternate pitching bags until each player has pitched all four of his/her bags.\n Players at the footboard will take score and resume pitching back to the other board.\n The top of an inning is completed when both players pitching from the headboard pitch all four bags\; the bottom of the inning is completed when the remaining players pitching from the footboard pitch all four bags.\n The player or team who scored in the preceding inning has honor pitching first in the next inning. If neither player or team scores\, the player or team who pitched first in the preceding frame shall retain first pitch in the next frame.\n\nSCORING\n\nThe approved method of scoring for the sport of cornhole is "cancellation" scoring. In cancellation scoring\, the points of one player cancel out the points of their opponent. Using this method\, only one player/team can score in each inning.\n\n\n Bag In-The-Count (Woody): Any bag which comes to rest anywhere on top of the board. Each is worth one (1) point.\n Bag In-The-Hole (Cornhole): Any bag which is thrown through the hole or knocked through the hole by another bag. Each is worth three (3) points.\n Foul Bags Refers to any bag that has not been determined as Bag In-The-Count or Bag In-The Hole or was designated a foul bag as the result of a rules violation.\n\n\nView more rules HERE.
