Event Description:
In celebration of the agricultural history of Hudsonville, we invite you to join us at the Saladbowl Bash - hosted at the Hudsonville Farmer's Co-Op (3340 Prospect Street in Hudsonville)

This year the event will take place on July 26, 2014.  Here's what's planned so far.  Check back for updates as the various components unfold!

Great Garden Games

The Great Garden Games is a quick paced vegetable themed competition.  

The games are: 
  1. Tomato stacking - How high can you stack the tomatoes in one minute?
  2. Onion launching - From a distance of 20 feet, how many onions can you launch into a stockpot in one minute?
  3. Cherry Tomato balancing - Given a cherry tomato and a spoon, how fast can you complete an obstacle course without dropping your tomato?
  4. Radish carrying - Put radishes on a celery stalk and carry it 20 feet to a stockpot.  How many can you get into the stockpot in one minute?
Teams of four (one person will compete in each game) should register at www.greatgardengames.com.  Individuals wishing to compete should plan to attend the event between 4 pm & 9 pm to try their hand at the games!​



Rock Your Voice

The Rock Your Voice singing competition has been expanded to include a youth division.  There is $750 in cash prizes on the line for the winners of this competition, so sign up today.  Visit www.rockyourvoice.info for more information and to pre-register.

Little Sprouts Kids' Area

Bring your little sprout over to the kids' area for lots of free activities ​including a coloring wall, community art project, and lots of veggie games!

Car Show


Join us for the first annual Saladbowl Bash Car Show!  Registration for this FREE car show will open at 2pm and will close at 4pm.  Awards will be announced at 6pm and the awards show will be followed by a 'Cruise Out'.   Dash plaques and goodie bags will be given to the first 100 registrations, so click here to pre-register today!  



Spectators, see the cars lined up along Prospect Street during the day and enjoy the Cruise Out as the parade of cars travels around town.  (Cruise Route to be announced)
