Hudsonville Holiday Parade 2024
Thank you for your interest in participating in this year's holiday parade. There will be a few changes this year that are important to understand before registering. Please review below.
Candy or other handouts must not be distributed by participants with moving vehicles. This rule is essential to ensure the safety of both participants and spectators, especially given the narrow and dark parade route.
However, there will still be candy at the parade! The "Candy Crew," a group of walkers near the end of the parade, has permission to safely distribute candy away from moving vehicles. To be in the Candy Crew, click the "Walkers Only" option when registering. We encourage you to dress up, wear lights, and bring decorated wagons to hold your candy. Please make sure to bring your own candy to pass out (no paper handouts allowed). Your logo/name will also be recognized on a parade banner (if registered by October 31) and promoted on social media!
To further enhance the safety of the event, a representative from each business or applicant is required to attend a mandatory safety meeting on Thursday, November 7, at 4:00 PM at Terra Square (3380 Chicago Dr, Hudsonville). The meeting will cover important details such as arrival times, staging locations, and parade safety. Failure to attend may result in your application being revoked.
