Event Description:

We are excited to be hosting Dave Staples, President and Chief Operating Officer of SpartanNash, to share with us some of the lessons that he has learned throughout his career.  

Dave Staples has served as SpartanNash’s Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer since March 2015 and as Chief Financial Officer since January 2000. He joined the company in 2000 as Vice President, Finance. In his role as COO, Dave oversees all three operating segments of the company: retail, wholesale and military distribution.

Dave joined SpartanNash after serving as Kmart Corporation’s Divisional Vice President, Strategic Planning and Reporting, and Divisional Vice President, Accounting Operations.

Dave is a graduate of Michigan State University.  He currently serves on the board of directors for the Michigan Chamber of Commerce and Grand Rapids Symphony.
